On behalf of the Trustees of The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) we would like to thank St. James’s Place Foundation for their extremely generous donation of £2500.  

The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation has received a cheque for £2424.43 presented by General Manager Simon Morris on behalf of staff and customers at the Ferndown Haskins Garden Centre. 

Flt Lt Helene Woodham (pictured far left) and the Cadets at 633 (West Swindon) Squadron raised an incredible £1142 for the JTYAF and recently invited Pete and Linda along to the Squadron for a cheque presentation. 

Ferndown Phoenix raised a fantastic £500 for the JTYAF and presented a cheque to Pete and Linda at their recent performance of 'Sounds of Musicals.' 

Dave Johnson celebrated his 60th Birthday in style with a great 60's Night for all his friends at Canford Magna Golf Club.

The JTYAF are flying high with a fanastic £500 donation from Aviation Design Engineering Consultants, ATL. 

Alex Morton and Tom Palmer, completed a gruelling 50 miles along some of the South West's most challenging coastal path, smashing their 24 hour target and finishing in just 22 hours.  

Billing Manager, Annie Dougall has been praised for her “awesome achievement” after tackling one of the world’s toughest physical challenges.

At Scissors in Ferndown Carolyn Thorpe, pictured above (front left) and her superb team devoted the entire month of November to fundraising for the JTYAF with the aim of raising £1000!   

The Committee members of Ferndown Forest Golf Club Seniors Section, turned out in force despite the arctic conditions to present a huge donation of £1,350 to Pete Thornton, Chairman of the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation. 

A huge thank you to all the 160 people in the eight teams who pulled for the JTYAF and also to the many spectators who braved the weather on Bank Holiday Monday to come and cheer their teams on.
