Young Karting Talent Accelerates Towards a Racing Career

A talented 15-year-old from Ferndown Upper School has received a JTYAF scholarship to support his ambition to become a professional racing driver. His exceptional ability has already seen him progress from Junior Rotax to Senior Rotax two years earlier than usual.

After only three races, he was placed sixth out of 33 drivers in the 2026 Senior Championship.  An impressive result achieved while competing in a junior kart against drivers aged 16 to 30 with newer, more advanced equipment. JTYAF funding has helped provide vital kart upgrades, which are already improving his performance and helping him compete on a more level playing field. We are proud to support this exciting young talent and wish him every success as he continues his journey in motorsport.
