Setting Sail for Skills, Confidence and Adventure

The JTYAF is delighted to support four Bournemouth Sea Cadets and Royal Marine Cadets, aged 12 to 16, as they take part in valuable offshore training courses. Through sailing, windsurfing, powerboating and other maritime activities, the cadets will gain practical experience while developing teamwork, respect, loyalty, self-confidence, commitment, self-discipline and honesty. Bournemouth Sea Cadets provides a safe and welcoming environment where young people can challenge themselves, discover their strengths and become the best version of themselves.
By helping with course costs, the JTYAF is making sure financial barriers do not prevent these young people from accessing exciting opportunities on the water.
