JTYAF Supports Bournemouth Youth Marching Band and Young Beginners

The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation is delighted to support Bournemouth Youth Marching Band, one of the largest and most successful youth marching bands in the South. The band gives young people the chance to develop their musical talent, build confidence and enjoy being part of a supportive team.

As one of our supported organisations for 2026, the JTYAF is helping new members take their first steps in music by covering the cost of their first instrument. We are especially pleased to have funded a student baritone for a nine-year-old beginner who has recently joined the band. We wish him every success as he begins his musical journey and look forward to hearing him play in the future.
