Climbing for A Cause - 3586 floors - Stairmaster Challenge

A huge congratulations to Adam, Tom, Will and Pete, who successfully completed their incredible StairMaster Challenge, reaching their target of 3,586 floors in under 10 hours.

The four lads took on this remarkable challenge in tribute to the 3,586 Coalition Forces personnel who lost their lives in Afghanistan, including John Thornton. Their determination and resilience were evident throughout the day as each of them completed four sets of 200 floors, before digging deep one final time to complete the remaining 96 floors needed to reach their goal.

Not only did they achieve an outstanding physical feat, but they have also raised an incredible £1,500 for the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated, encouraged and supported them along the way. The generosity shown by friends, family and supporters has been truly amazing.

The funds raised will make a real difference to the opportunities we are able to provide for local young people in the coming months, helping them to pursue their ambitions, overcome barriers and achieve their potential.

This challenge was about so much more than climbing floors. It was an opportunity to pay tribute to the fallen of Afghanistan, honour John's memory, and help keep his legacy alive through the work of the Foundation.

To Adam, Tom, Will and Pete, thank you. Your commitment, effort and support have been outstanding, and we can't thank you enough.
