Fete on the Field Sunshine, Smiles and Community

This year’s Fete on the Field was the best yet, with glorious sunshine, a wonderful community atmosphere and plenty of little visitors stopping by the JTYAF stall to enjoy a game of Hook a Duck.
We were also delighted to be joined by Janine and Nick Pulford. Janine spent the day signing copies of her latest book, Paws in the Flood, while Nick sold chilli, cucumber and tomato plants, with their efforts kindly supporting the JTYAF.

Our fabulous volunteers, Lorna, Derith and Shirley, did an amazing job running Hook a Duck throughout the day, helping to raise almost £300 for John’s Foundation.
We were also incredibly touched to receive a very generous donation from a mystery supporter. We would like to pass on our sincere thanks to him for his kindness, which will help us continue providing opportunities for local young people.
All in all, it was a fantastic day and a wonderful celebration of community spirit. Our thanks also go to Ferndown and Parley Rotary Club for their hard work and dedication in organising such a brilliant local event.
