Supporting a Young Sportsman to Pro Direct Academy

A talented 16-year-old student from Ferndown Upper School has secured an exciting scholarship at Pro Direct Academy in Hamworthy, where he will undertake the NCFE Level 3 in Sport.

The JTYAF is delighted to support him with funding towards the essential training kit and equipment he needs for the course. As part of the programme, he will train three times a week with UEFA-licensed coaches while studying for a Level 3 Diploma in Sports Performance and Physical Activity.

This opportunity marks an important step towards his future ambitions, which include progressing to university or securing a scholarship in the United States. His dedication, talent and commitment to developing as a sportsman are clear, and we are proud to play a small part in helping him take this next step.
