Bournemouth Sea Cadets is one of 400 Sea Cadet Units nationwide. They offer training to young people between the ages of 10-18, in many different disciplines from Seamanship to Marine Engineering, Communications to Expedition Training, promoting personal development and valuable life skills.
Young people aged 10 and 11 join the Junior Sea Cadet section, following their own unique training plan. At age 12, cadets join the Senior Section and become fully involved in Unit life. Young people aged 13 and above may join the Royal Marines Cadet Detachment (RMCD).
The JTYAF is delighted to welcome the Bournemouth Sea Cadets and Royal Marine Cadets as one of their supported organisations for 2017.
