Nicholas Andreou, a student from Ferndown Upper School has been awarded funds to help him pursue his dream career as a professional musician. 

They will plan and budget for the trip, develop teamwork and leadership skills and have the opportunity to meet Girl Guides from other areas.

Dorset and Wilts Wing Air Training Corps have been awarded funds to buy archery equipment for the cadets in Dorset and Wilts Wing.  

A young musician from Ferndown Middle School has received support from the JTYAF so that he can continue with his lessons.

Lewis Brimble has just returned from the World Transplant Games in Argentina after winning a gold medal in the Badminton Singles Competition.

Max was welcomed aboard the Challenger Yacht as a Crew Member where he spent four days voyaging the seas with the Tall Ships Youth Trust. 

During his time in Borneo, Cameron participated in a number of projects to benefit the rural communities.

The Dorset Fire and Rescue Service Cadets Scheme have been awarded funding for the 3rd year running for the European Exchange visit where Dorchester Fire Cadets selected from the recent 20-week course will host French and German Fire Cadets. 

Pupils at Parley First School have enjoyed a school trip to Leeson House Outdoor Pursuit Centre to participate in a range of activities including coastal walking and orienteering as part of a grant from the JTYAF.

The 3rd Ferndown District Brownies have been awarded a grant by the JTYAF to support a PGL adventure trip to the Isle of Wight. We look forward to seeing the exciting activities the Brownies have been up to upon their return.
