Paul’s Curry Night: Fundraising, Friendship and Community Spirit

A huge JTYAF thank you goes out to Paul for his exceptional organisation of the 9th JTYAF Curry Night at the Cinnamon Indian Restaurant in Ferndown. Year after year, Paul’s curry evenings are a sell-out success, and it’s easy to see why.  Alam makes us so welcome and delights guests with a superb feast that makes the night truly memorable. This latest event was no exception, with glowing feedback from our guests who said how much they enjoyed the event and particularly the delicious food.

We are incredibly grateful to all our guests for their remarkable generosity, which made the evening a tremendous fundraising success. Through the auction, raffle, ticket sales and Alam’s generous donation of £52 from his beer promotion, we raised a staggering £1,128.50.

Our thanks must also go to the local businesses and supporters who contributed raffle and auction prizes. The raffle and auction alone raised over £550!  Special recognition goes to Hunt Forest Group, Wessex Country Gammons, Beauty Above, Kimbers Carpets, Paultons Park, Ferndown Leisure Centre, Moors Valley, Lulworth Castle, Knoll Gardens, Compton Acres, Palmers Brewery, Boots Ferndown and Paul for their invaluable support.

Paul is a very special friend of the JTYAF. Over the years, he has organised 16 fundraising events and raised over £9,500—an outstanding achievement that has made a real difference to countless young people’s lives.
