We’re incredibly proud to share the impact of our recent support for an amazing four‑legged hero through Helpful Hounds.

The JTYAF has contributed towards two years of specialist training, along with a year’s veterinary fees and liability insurance, for a truly special dog who will make a life‑changing difference to a 7‑year‑old boy living with complex medical conditions.

What makes this story even more remarkable is that on the dog’s very first night in the family home, she alerted the parents to a medical issue that could have led to a hospital admission. Her instincts and ability were so impressive that Helpful Hounds accepted her onto their ‘Owner Trained Programme’, recognising her exceptional potential.

Stories like this remind us just how powerful the bond between people and animals can be and how the right support at the right time can transform lives. We’re honoured to play a small part in such an inspiring journey.
