Wimborne & Ferndown Lions Club President, Frank Fortey, presented a cheque for £2500 to the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation. The money was raised from The Dorset Charity Horse & Dog Show and a recent Quiz Night at the Barrington Centre in Ferndown.

The Lions have been great supporters of the JTYAF since 2011. They have made a huge contribution to the JTYAF's continued investment in young people, donating over £6000, for which we are extremely grateful.

Pete Thornton commented “We really appreciate the fantastic support we receive from the Wimborne and Ferndown Lions Club. Together we are making a real difference to the lives of local young people.”
