National Air and Space Camp

A 15 year old Air Cadet from 149 (Poole) Squadron who aims for a career in Air Traffic Control has been awarded a bursary from the JTYAF to further his ambitions.

He has received funding to support his attendance at a National Air and Space Camp where he will get the chance to talk to a whole range of industry partners in a career fair highlighting future opportunities in aviation, aerospace and defence sectors. There will also be STEM activities for him to get involved in.

He has been car washing to raise money to help with the cost of the trip and the JTYAF was delighted to step in with support for equipment and the camp fee.

We wish him every success and look forward to hearing all about his experience.
