Anya sets her sights on the Winter Olympics 2018

Winter sports are certainly in the news at the moment with GB achievements in the Winter Olympics and we have recently made one of our first awards of 2014 to support a local young lady who is determined to get to the next Games in 2018. Anya Kay has shown exceptional talent and the JTYAF will be supporting her with funding towards her expenses to attend the British Bobsleigh Championships in March.

Anya has been selected for the ‘Futures Programme’ and will be among the team of athletes being prepared for the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea. The picture above shows Anya, second from the right, with the GB Futures Team. We are extremely proud to support Anya and wish her every success for the future.
