A big thank you to Chris and Sam who donated a fantastic £270 to the JTYAF.
They were married in the United States but had a Wedding Party Celebration back in the UK.
They kindly requested donations to the JTYAF instead of wedding gifts and a fantastic £270 was raised by their families and friends. We are very grateful to all Chris and Sam's wedding party guests and would like to wish the happy couple a wonderful future together.
The JTYAF supports young people from a wide range of youth organisations providing them with scholarships and bursaries to support their personal development and the pursuit of their ambitions.
The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) was set up in memory of John Thornton who was tragically killed in Afghanistan in 2008.
The JTYAF provides opportunities for young people to help them to develop as individuals and fulfil their ambitions in life as John was able to do.
