The JTYAF is thrilled to announce its support for three exceptional local Scouts and Guides, who have been chosen to represent Dorset County at the 26th World Scout Jamboree in Gdansk, Poland, in 2027. Selected from a pool of 150 candidates after a rigorous selection weekend, these young people have earned their places at this prestigious international gathering.

The World Scout Jamboree is a unique event, welcoming 40,000 young people from across the globe. It offers participants the chance to build essential life skills, such as independence, confidence, teamwork and effective communication, while forging friendships and gaining a greater appreciation of diverse cultures.

JTYAF has proudly contributed towards the costs of this once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Our award winners are also working hard to fundraise, organising bake sales, tuck shops, raffles and sponsored events to make their dream journey a reality.

We can’t wait to hear all about the adventures and experiences. Their dedication and enthusiasm is testament to the spirit of youth achievement and international friendship.
