Poole Goes Vintage was a fabulous celebration of Vintage-ness which transported hundreds of visitors back to the 1940’s-1960’s with live music, dancing, fashion shows, memorabilia and iconic motors. This feel-good festival was a huge success and the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation would like to thank Karl of Real Vintage for choosing the JTYAF as the charity of support for this year’s event.

We had the best time, listening to music from The Aphrodites, The Blue Stockings, and The Blue Cadillacs to name but a few. Thanks must also go to Little Miss Blue Bass for kindly donating her latest CD.

Our amazing volunteers were out in force. Thank you to David, Elke, Teri, Geraldine, Derek, Linda, Lorna and Ray. We had great fun and were delighted to raise £204 in the process! Huge thanks to everyone who contributed.

A great article in the Bournemouth Daily Echo sums up the event.
