Horserenity is an equine assisted learning centre providing help for children and adults with their challenges, giving them space and time outdoors with horses. The JTYAF is delighted to fund this therapeutic teaching approach for a little girl who is facing many challenges and this alternative learning opportunity is aimed at improving her academic and social achievement in mainstream school.
The JTYAF supports young people from a wide range of youth organisations providing them with scholarships and bursaries to support their personal development and the pursuit of their ambitions.
The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) was set up in memory of John Thornton who was tragically killed in Afghanistan in 2008.
