JTYAF and Christmas Carols at Sainsbury's

As Sainsbury's Ferndown Charity Partner, we were invited in-store for one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year.  The theme was definitely 'Festive' with a host of local choirs entertaining the shoppers and lots of volunteers helping with bag packing.  Customers certainly enjoyed their shopping experience with the JTYAF around and a bit of Christmas sparkle.

The charity is privileged to have so many friends and supporters and they were out in force at Sainsburys.  They are too numerous to mention but we can't thank them enough for their fantastic support.

We would like to thank all the amazing choirs for entertaining the shoppers with their wonderful performances:- Ferndown First School, Beaucroft Foundation School, the Bournemouth Male Voice Choir, Basement Choir, 3rd Ferndown Brownies, No Direction and the Bournemouth Youth Marching Band.

We couldn't manage without our army of volunteers and particular thanks must go to the Air Cadets from 149(Poole) Squadron, the Guides, Scouts, and the Bournemouth Sea Cadets and Royal Marine Cadets from TS Phoebe.

Last but not least, a huge thank you to Sainsbury's Ferndown and to their incredibly kind and generous customers.  The JTYAF is like part of the family now after so many years of support from the store and we are always totally overwhelmed by the reception we receive.

We'll announce how much was raised just as soon as we have the details from Sainsbury's.  Thank goodness they count the money collected for us!
