Bournemouth Explorer Scouts Embark on International Adventure

Bournemouth Explorer Scouts are preparing for a remarkable International Camp at Lake Balaton in Hungary, with help from the generous support of the JTYAF. The foundation’s recent funding has enabled the purchase of four new tents, ensuring that the Scouts are well-equipped for their upcoming expedition.

This 10-day camp marks the first international event for the Scouts since before the Covid pandemic. The group includes 50 young people and leaders, necessitating additional tents to comfortably accommodate everyone. The new tents will not only serve this exciting adventure but will also become a lasting resource for future training camps, supporting the Explorer Scouts as they continue to embark on new journeys and develop essential life skills.
