'A' Level Physics Trip To Geneva

A student at Ferndown Upper School has received an award to contribute towards the cost of an ‘A’ Level Physics Trip to Geneva.

This will be an invaluable experience where the students will have the opportunity to visit the Natural History Museum in Geneva, together with the History of Science Museum and the MAD Gallery for Engineering. The main attraction will however be a visit to the CERN galleries, museum and the centre itself. The European Organization for Nuclear Research, known as CERN, operates the largest particle physics laboratory in the world and will further develop and enhance the teaching of the particle topic for these Year 12 students.

We look forward to hearing all about it.
