A team of ten Air Cadets from 633 (West Swindon) Squadron will be undertaking an expedition to the Pyrenees with the aim to summit the third highest mountain in the region, Mount Perdu.  This is the second team from 633 Squadron to take on this challenge.  The cadets will be following in the footsteps of the 2011 expedition.  The JTYAF is delighted to support their accommodation and equipment costs.

The weather in this area can be quite extreme even in summer time so it will be a huge challenge to reach the top of Mount Perdu, at 3404 meters.  The Cadets will need a great deal of determination and perseverance but during the trek they will have the opportunity to develop many skills both as a team and as individuals.

We wish them all well for their expedition.
