It's the 10th Anniversary of the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation and it was lovely to have so many of our supporters taking part in 10 Miles for JT, to commemorate all that has been achieved in John's memory over the last 10 years.
The Charity’s Constitution was adopted on June 5th 2008 and for a decade The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation has been helping young people to discover their potential, develop their talents and ‘climb as high as they can dream.’ A legacy of which John would be extremely proud.
We organised a group 10 mile walk on Saturday 9th June, from Sandbanks to Mudeford, with a couple of stops along the way and finished with lunch at the Beach House Cafe, Mudeford.
Huge thanks to all those who joined us including Bournemouth Sea Cadets & Royal Marines Cadets and 171 Christchurch Squadron Royal Air Force Air Cadets. Over 30 yellow t-shirts commemorating 10 years of The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation.
A very special day which raised over £600 for the JTYAF!
