The Coda Fiddle Orchestra, overseen by the Coda Music Trust, is a participatory community music project that works with children and young people offering violin tuition and ensemble opportunities – through the Fiddle Orchestra. It is run by Jack Maguire, former co-leader of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and has been running since 2004.

The celebrated Coda Fiddle Orchestra nurtures a new generation of young string players through a unique approach to teaching and regular rehearsals and performances. The youngsters aged from 6 to 16 meet every Saturday at St Clement’s Church in Boscombe and are offered a number of exciting performance opportunities which take place throughout the year. The JTYAF provides scholarships for several talented young musicians on an annual basis and has supported the CFO since 2010.
