Ferndown Upper School - John Thornton Music Scholarship

Ferndown Upper School (FUS) has been allocated an amount of £500 from the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) to provide a new Music Scholarship.  

The award will be presented to one or two musicians in years nine to twelve, who will be continuing their studies at FUS in September. The award will be used for their musical education – funding instrumental lessons, exam fees, orchestra/band subs, sheet music etc.

If you would like to be considered for this award you will need to complete an application form and hand it to Mrs Whitehead by Monday 30th June.

The award will be presented in September. In return for the scholarship, you could be asked to perform at one or two JTYAF events during the year. Applicants may be asked to audition in the last two weeks of term, depending on the number of applications.
