Tall Ships Youth Trust

The JTYAF is proud to offer bursaries to local young people experiencing financial challenges, giving them the opportunity to embark on an unforgettable Tall Ships adventure.

The Tall Ships Youth Trust is a leading youth development and outdoor learning charity, dedicated to empowering young people, especially those from disadvantaged background, to unlock their potential through life-changing voyages.

By merging ocean-based outdoor learning with personal and social growth, the Trust enables participants to develop practical life skills through a series of progressively longer and more demanding residential journeys at sea.

Throughout each voyage, young people work collaboratively as a team, building their confidence, self-esteem, and seeing marked improvements in their communication and leadership abilities.

Bursary recipients will be selected by the Tall Ships Youth Trust and there will be no application process direct to the JTYAF
