A 14-year-old student from Ferndown Upper School has been selected as one of only 32 athletes to represent Dorset at the National Schools’ Championships in Birmingham.
The Boscombe Youth Fiddle Orchestra, proudly supported by the JTYAF, achieved remarkable success at this year’s Bournemouth Performing Arts Competition, which is now celebrating its 95th season.

The JTYAF has supported Gorsemoor Scouts by contributing towards the cost of twelve Royal Yachting Association courses that have been booked with Poole Sea Scouts, which include the Powerboat Level 1 certification and a two-day Youth Dinghy Sailing course.
