Gorsemoor Scouts are preparing for an exciting sailing weekend with the Discovery Sailing Project, thanks to support from the JTYAF.

A talented 16-year-old student from Ferndown Upper School has secured an exciting scholarship at Pro Direct Academy in Hamworthy, where he will undertake the NCFE Level 3 in Sport.

This year’s Fete on the Field was the best yet, with glorious sunshine, a wonderful community atmosphere and plenty of little visitors stopping by the JTYAF stall to enjoy a game of Hook a Duck.

A huge thank you goes to Hannah at DorsetFit for organising a fantastic 10-hour Walkathon which raised over £700 for the JTYAF.

The JTYAF is delighted to have supported a five-year-old child who is preverbal and has an autism diagnosis by funding an iPad with the Proloquo2Go communication app installed.
