Since January the JTYAF has already supported 13 young people with funding for registration fees, equipment and expedition costs, giving them the opportunity to complete their Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards.

The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) was set up in memory of John Thornton who was tragically killed in Afghanistan in 2008.
