The President of Verwood Rotary Club selected the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation as his charity of the year for 2023/24 and Linda and Pete were delighted to recieve a cheque for £2000 at the recent ‘Handover Dinner.’

The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) was set up in memory of John Thornton who was tragically killed in Afghanistan in 2008.
The JTYAF provides opportunities for young people to help them to develop as individuals and fulfil their ambitions in life as John was able to do.
