The JTYAF is delighted to support a 15 year old school girl from Ferndown who has been selected to represent England as a trainer at the World Agility Open in the Netherlands.

The new Jubilee Fund of £33,000 has been made available to local schools to support the mental health and well being of young people in our community. Applications are in and we are absolutely delighted to receive requests for funding support for so many outstanding projects which will make a real difference to the lives of local youngsters.

The JTYAF is supporting a Tall Ships adventure aboard a Challenger yatcht for 20 young people from St Michael’s Middle School.

Here at the JTYAF we were delighted to receive a wonderful collection of thank you’s from Portland Class and Braille Class at Beaucroft Foundation School.

The JTYAF is delighted to provide funding for Year 7 Residential and Year 7 Day Trips for vulnerable pupils at St Michael’s Middle School.

Children at Hampreston First School are enjoying their new lunch time play equipment which was bought with a little help from the JTYAF.

A 4 week trip of a lifetime will take a local young lady to Borneo with Camps International, where she will be involved in community projects supporting, housing and welfare, education and conservation.

The Dorset & Wilts Fire Cadets Programme is now up and running after the pause in delivery due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the JTYAF was delighted to help out with new helmets for the Ferndown Fire Cadets.

Bournemouth Sea and Marine Cadets were in desperate need of new football kit and tracksuits in order to present a smart team image when representing the unit at various sporting events.

The JTYAF has made a financial contribution towards a traverse wall for the sensory room at Parley First School.

The JTYAF has awarded funding to a local 10 year old who is a talented BMX rider and recently won the Club Series at Bournemouth BMX Club.

We have recently awarded funding to help with expedition costs and equipment for 2 young people completing their Bronze Awards and one young lady taking part in a Gold Award Expedition.

The Coda Fiddle Orchestra Christmas Concert at St Peter’s Church in Bournemouth was a great opportunity for these talented young musicians to shine.

The JTYAF is delighted to support a local 19 year old amateur who has been competing since the age of 7. He has reached the final of the England 16 Championship, captained the England Under 16 team at the Home Internationals and is currently Dorset Open Champion.

A young man from Mudeford Sea Scouts is being supported to attend a Scout Camp in Kandersteg Switzerland in 2022.

Maiden Newton Youth Football Club has now attracted enough girls to set up an all girls Under 9’s team. The JTYAF is delighted to provide funding towards the training tops for this new girls team which will carry the JTYAF logo as they represent their club at both home and away matches.
