Stephanie Garlick is taking on the challenge of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, to raise money for 'CLEFT.'

Stephanie has had to overcome serious illness herself and the JTYAF is delighted to be able to support her for this expedition with funding for essential equipment.  Stephanie told us,

"The fact that I was so ill and now can talk about climbing this amazing mountain is such a personal achievement for me and also that it will benefit such a worthwhile cause as the charity 'CLEFT' is fantastic!"

Linda and Pete Thornton know only too well the challenges that will face Stephanie, as they climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in 2010.  It's a tough challenge, but Stephanie has certainly shown that she has the courage and determination to make it to the top.
